Connect to a virtual machine from the console

You can connect to a virtual machine to manage it directly. To connect to the virtual machine, it must be Started (for details, see Start and stop the virtual machine). You can connect to a virtual machine using the console.

Log into the My.Cloud-V management portal at my.cloud-v.ru in your account.

When you connect to a virtual machine using the console an RDP connection is created.

Go to Virtual machines from the main menu, select the virtual machine/virtual machine instance role that you want to connect to, click Connect on the command bar, and then select Console.

Run the downloaded RDP-file on your PC.

Note: this RDP-file gives you access to the virtual machine console session.

  • Do not save the RDP-file in a common location.
  • • The console session is shared by other administrators of the virtual machine.
