Configure DHCP

Configure DHCP

DHCP is a network protocol that allows your virtual machines to automatically receive IP address and other parameters required to work in the TCP/IP network.

  1. Go to Administration and click on your virtual data center.
  2. In the pop-up menu bar, select the Org VDC Networks tab, right-click on the required network and select Configure Services.
  1. In the pop-up window, click on the Enable DHCP check box.
  1. If necessary, enter the new IP address range, or leave it unchanged. Set the minimum and maximum Lease or leave it unchanged. Click on OK.

Important: the range of these IP addresses must not overlap with the Org VDC network Static IP Pool.
