How do I import virtual machine templates?

Important: To import a template, you must first create a catalog in which the template will be housed.

  1. Go to Catalogs, then open the vApp Templates tab and click on Upload.
  1. The pop-up window will contain a link to install the Client Integration Plug-in. To continue, you must install this plug-in (installation instructions).
  1. Select the virtual machine template location (URL or Local file), enter its name, and select the catalog where it will be located. Click on Upload.
  1. Upon completion of the operation, the virtual machine template will be accessible in the previously specified catalog.
